Attention Delegates and Alternates to the State Convention: 

 There will be a Senate District 22 pre-convention caucus on Saturday, May 26 beginning at 10 a.m. in Hillsboro. SC 22 Committeeman Danny Trull would like as many of us to attend as possible. The meeting will be in the 66th District Courtroom in the Hill County Courthouse at 1 N. Waco Street, Hillsboro. Let County Chair, Joyce Carver, know if you would like to attend. She can be reached at 817-219-0659.

Delegates to the State Convention on June 7-9 will be:

Bob Felske, Patti Tilson, Bob Cantrell, Gene McNeely, Kenneth Massey, Debra Hunt, Salim Bhaloo, Linda Boysen, Berni Mull, Bill Boysen, Chip Mull, Dewey Ballenger III, and Shirley Ledford.

Alternates to the State Convention will be: Mary Felske, Sally Cantrell, Mary Ballenger, JD Thomas, Vicki Thomas, Jennifer Roy, and Harold Granek.

The State Convention will be held this year in Houston.  Credentials will be distributed on Friday morning in Exhibit Room E of the George R. Brown Convention Center. The HIlton of the Americas is the offical hotel of the Convention. The Democratic Party has arranged a block of rooms to be reserved at a discounted rate. The hotel cannot take reservations directly, so visit the Party's website at www.txdemocrats.org to make reservations and for more information.
